Referrals
Movement & me provides female-focused exercise physiology services to adults, centred on the assessment and management of a range of gynaecological and mental health conditions.
As part of our gynaecological health service, we also work with adolescents experiencing persistent pelvic pain. We do not provide diagnostic services but have a wonderful network of compassionate healthcare providers in other disciplines, to whom we refer when necessary. We value working with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide holistic and cohesive progress towards each person’s goals.
We provide in-person sessions at our Leabrook site, and video telehealth consultations.
People can self-refer or can be referred by a range of professionals.
Common referral pathways include:
General Practitioners (GPs)
Gynaecologists
Physiotherapists and other allied health practitioners
Psychiatrists
Psychologists, counsellors and other mental health service providers
movement & me provide services through Medicare and private health insurance funding:
Medicare via a GP Chronic Disease Management plan and Team Care Arrangement referral
Private health insurance – clients will need to check with their insurance provider to see if they are covered, as every fund and plan has different entitlements
