What does an Accredited
Exercise Physiologist (AEP) do?
AEPs, or “EPs” for short, apply research evidence to help people find ways they can use movement and exercise as part of their strategy for managing their health conditions and symptoms.
We’re trained to work with a wide range of health concerns, including persistent pain, mental health, cancers, neurological and metabolic conditions. We take a holistic approach, listening to you to understand your experiences of your health in all areas of your life. With your priorities in mind, we help you identify your strengths and preferences for exercise and movement. We work with you to build movement into your life in ways that you enjoy, work for you, and help you realise your goals.
